An anatomically correct pelvic model with full term newborn and placenta to give your trainees realistic practice in multiple techniques, and to learn the procedure for emergency childbirth.
Disposable umbilical cords with clamps, easily replaced extra vulva, powder to make simulated blood, a modular pregnant belly overlay with permanently installed fetus for traing practice of Leopold's maneuver to determine the fetus' lie by palpating its skull and kneecaps, and a clear abdominal overlay to see positioning are all included. The lifelike pelvic cavity has pronounced pelvic landmarks, located spinal column, angled birth canal, ilium, ischium, sacrum, sacro spinious ligaments, and greater sciatic notch. The fetus provided is a realistic newborn size with fontanels and cranial sutures.
Black and White babies
Ideal for teaching newborn care, these lifelike models simulate one-day-old infants. They are made of soft vinyl and are fully jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. Anatomically correct (males have intact foreskin). Available in a basic model in two shades as well as two ethnic models. A flannel diaper, birth certificate, and wristband are included.

ABDOMINAL PALPATION MODEL
This 3D model allows healthcare professionals and students to perform Leopold’s maneuvers, practice palpation skills, and view the fetus. Can be used to demonstrate palpation of the abdomen to determine fetal lie, presentation, and position.
The model includes a fetus with aweighted body, movable arm and legs, firm buttocks, and a head with palpable anterior and posterior fontanels. The fetal body flexes to allow demonstration of all presentations and positions. The fetus and vinyl pelvis rest within the abdominal portion of the model. The abdomen, a padded cloth attatched by Velcro to the base, allows easy removal and replacement in order to visualize and change fetal positions. Movable gel packs are included to simulate amniotic fluid. A practice/resource guide is included to provide detailed suggestions on how to use this model with nurses, nurse-midwives, healthcare providers, students, and expectant parents.
